Andreea Etringer, LCSW

Andreea is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She brings more than eleven years of prior clinical experience from Romania, where she practiced as a licensed clinical psychologist and psychotherapist in child protection, healthcare and dialysis, private practice, and community-based services. Much of her work was focused on children and families experiencing trauma, abuse, neglect, family conduct, behavioral concerns, and major life transitions. She provided trauma-informed counseling, family support, behavioral interventions, crisis stabilization, assessment and therapeutic intervention. Her background in child welfare shaped her understanding of how stress, loss, and early experiences can affect a child's emotions, behavior, relationships, and sense of safety.
In addition to her work with children and families, Andreea spent more than seven years providing psychological services in dialysis settings. She supported individuals and families as they navigated chronic illness, grief, adjustment, treatment adherence, anxiety, depression, and emotional stress. Andreea has a special interest in trauma, family relationships, anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, and life transitions. Her therapeutic approach integrates trauma-informed, experiential, and strength-based principles tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. She creates a warm and collaborative therapeutic environment that supports emotional growth, resilience, effective coping skills, improved communication, and strong family relationships. Having lived and worked across different cultures, Andreea brings a culturally responsive perspective to her work. She provides therapy in both English and Romanian and welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds.
