Psychological Evaluations
Medlin Treatment Center's forensic team is equipped with qualified psychologists that address specific psycho-legal questions asked in court. We gather clinical data through interviews, psychological testing, and review of records, then apply our expertise to offer an opinion relevant to legal proceedings.

Psychological Evaluation
A psychological or psychiatric evaluation is a comprehensive assessment by a mental health professional to understand someone's thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and cognitive abilities, helping to diagnose mental health conditions, create treatment plans, and address specific issues like learning difficulties or risk factors. It involves detailed interviews, questionnaires, observation, and sometimes specific tests (like personality or IQ tests) to gather history (medical, family, social) and current functioning, guiding therapy, medication, or educational support
Psychosexual Evaluations
Someone gets a non-forensic psychosexual evaluation for in-depth understanding of their sexual health, to guide therapy for problematic behaviors (like excessive porn, boundary issues, or paraphilias) not necessarily tied to a crime, clarify sexual identity/interests, or assess risk for treatment planning, helping parents, therapists, and individuals find appropriate support and settings without legal compulsion.
