Dr. Laura Reid is a highly skilled Clinical and Forensic Psychologist at Medlin Treatment Center, specializing in comprehensive psychological, forensic, and psychosexual evaluations for adults. She brings a wealth of specialized experience to our forensic team, offering advanced assessment services in both English and Spanish. Throughout her career, Dr. Reid has applied her forensic expertise across diverse legal and clinical landscapes. She has worked closely with defense and immigration attorneys to conduct specialized evaluation in cases involving asylum and extreme hardship. She has also conducted evaluations regarding competency to stand trial and the insanity defense. Dr. Reid is deeply committed to objective, evidence-based practice and has completed advanced, specialized forensic training through the University of Virginia Institute of Law, Psychiatry and Public Policy. Additionally, she holds a formal certification in psychopathy assessment using the Hare Psychopathy Checklist-Revised (PCL-R).
