De'Chelle Degraffenried, LCSW
De’Chelle is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of North Alabama and Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in mental health from Alabama A&M University. De’Chelle has worked primarily in the hospital setting and has worked with children, adolescents, and adults from various demographic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.
She provides therapy for clients dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, substance abuse, domestic violence, grief, and life transitions. She understands the importance of creating a safe space that encourages and promotes vulnerability which leads to healing. She uses CBT, strength-based, solution-focused therapy, and client-centered approaches.
