Svetlana Markova, Ph.D.
Dr. Markova graduated from State Academy of Slavic Culture with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She obtained her doctoral degree in Clinical and Forensic Psychology from the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the State Therapeutic School for children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders. She has provided general psychological evaluations, cognitive assessment, parenting evaluations and therapy.
Dr. Markova completed two postdoctoral fellowships: at the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education as Associate Professor where she received training in research methods and analysis; and at the PsyWorkshop as a therapist providing group and individual therapy with children, adolescents and adults with various psychological issues. Dr. Markova has conducted trainings for professionals and workshops for parents and the community.
